The project includes conventional storm sewers, open channels and a series of three storm water detention ponds serving a residential subdivision in a 420 acre watershed. The two uppermost ponds are dry ponds and the third pond is a one acre wet pond serving as the focal point of the subdivision. The pond outfall is a 62″ x 102″Â arch pipe disguised as a bridge. The ponds are designed to maintain the 100-year pre-developed runoff rate of 215 cfs from the watershed.
